The Chiropractic Balance Center is located in Central Tucson, near El Con Mall. I have been in the same location since 1989. Easily accessible by the Tucson Suntran bus system.

The mission of the Chiropractic Balance Center is one of service. My main goal is to provide high-quality chiropractic health care for all of my patients. I strive to help people overcome health problems as quickly as their inherent recuperative power will permit. I believe that education and understanding are of paramount importance to the attainment and maintenance of health.

Thoroughly experienced in the nonsurgical treatment of neuromusculoskeletal injuries and disorders, Dr. Scheff has, for thirty five years, successfully provided effective and conservative healthcare. His concept of care is inclusive of a wide range of natural modalities and disciplines.

PROFESSIONAL PROFILE:
Vice-president, Chiropractic Association of Arizona, 1981-82 and 1984-85. *Note: Dr. Scheff's administration brought the passage of insurance equality legislation resulting in the establishment of full general insurance and industrial parity for the chiropractic profession in Arizona.

Chairman, legislative committee, Chiropractic Association of Arizona, 1979-82. *Note: During Dr. Scheff's tenure, the Arizona chiropractic profession gained its first change in scope of practice legislation since 1921. The change resulted in the recognition of Arizona chiropractors as primary care health care providers capable of making a differential diagnosis and expanded the scope of chiropractic treatment to include physiotherapy, traction and acupuncture.

AREAS OF INTEREST: Dr. Scheff has made international journeys to study the natural therapy modalities and diagnostic practices of Europe and Asia. He has lectured at the university level, and his audiences have included physicians, physical therapists, athletic teams and governmental agencies. Dr. Scheff speaks English, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.
